Emphasizing Process Over Product

Want to help students to think consciously about designing an algorithm, or teach students to debug their own work? This video highlights the Critical-Thinking Flow Chart, which scaffolds students’ development of a program by focusing on three different areas where students struggle to work independently: planning a program before coding it, locating bugs, and using targetted strategies to resolve the bug.
